During the 2011/2012 season, the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, in partnership with the Breton Cultural Agency, offers Breton Voices at the Castle, a monthly arts event where the public can discover or rediscover the creations of Breton artists. The singers, musicians, storytellers and other artists will raise their voices in French, Breton and Gallo in a room of the historic Horseshoe Tower.
Since its reopening, the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany - Nantes History Museum has showcased the history and lively culture of Brittany. The major exhibits «Anne of Brittany, a Story, a Legend» and «Time for the Ball» in 2007, and the rock opera Anne of Brittany by Alan Simon in 2009 are the most significant events.

The Aux Heures d'Été programme offers regular live performances and entertainment in the castle courtyard during the summer months.
